The Michael Forbes "Explosion" Band plays a unique style of rock music with rock sax and rock flute. The band specializes in classic rock, oldies, rhythm 'n blues, blues, and hits from the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and 2000's including Uptown Funk! Some venues include the Bull Pen, Elks Lodge in San Pedro & Redondo Beach, Marina City Club, San Franciscan, Texas Looseys, The Slip in Lomita, Starboard Attitude, VFW in Lomita, as well as private parties, corporate gigs, weddings and festivals including Music By The Sea at Point Fermin in San Pedro on July 23-2023

The Explosion Band will be back at Music By The Sea on July 21, 2024 from 2:30 to 3:30.
